Final Assignment

 

The advantages of Industrialism are vast and have improved the human lifestyle exponentially. Its advantages to our species is so great that the dark side of industralism is easily overlooked. The ever increasing human population and the waste we produce is taking its toll on the world’s natural environment. This photographic series mimicks the effects of humans on nature. The environment begins in its natural state and slowly deteriorates as humans carelessly throw their waste away and use up every natural resources.

I really like your superhero card, it reminds me of old cartoons I used to watch as a child. Did you draw those yourself? If it is then I congragulate your creativity and artistic anilities. I also noticed that your background colors work really well with the picture, especially for the front side of the card. I also enjoy the humor you added into the assignment.

Amazing Work, this is among one of the most creative cards i have seen thus far. I was impressed by your dedication in making this card as perfect as you could, i saw how you worked with your initial drawing and photoshop. Each color and background compliment each individual hero.  The bio for the front of the cad is ot only interesting but its actually something that would be in an actual card. Once again good job

I really enjoy this card not only because dogs are by far my favorite animal but by the additional humor you added to the description. The back and the description make it obvious that it is in fact a trading card. I also noticed that you spent a good deal of time using the Marquee Tools to make the image look clean. My favorite part would be the Emraged dog itself, and it menacing tongue.

For Assignment 5 , I was inspired by the Wasteland movie we were watching in class. I plan on taking pictures of both natural areas in Chicago that I find to be beautiful and also pictures of areas destroyed by industrial waste. I will pick the best from both categories and place them side by side. Not quite sure as to whether I will use photoshop on the images yet, but hopefully my peers help me decide once I have my draft completed. Here are a couple of photos that influenced me:

For this trading card assignment I not only got cards about my favorite superheores(or just some that look pretty awsome) but some villains as well. I do not plan on making a villain for this project but I think some of their designs might be useful in helping me decide on a final superhero for me to work on. I choose more than five because I still need some inspiration for my hero and hopefully the more I have the sooner I can come up with an idea.

This is my Niece and she would not hold still for a single picture. The reason I did not submit this for the portrait assignment because when I took this picture I had not yet properly bracketed my camera. Not only is my niece blocking the shot, and blurring the shot but the image itself would be too dark since my EV was not yet adjusted.To improve the shot I should have increased the ISO because it was in a darker setting, then I would also increase EV until it matches the ISO and makes my photos clearer.
